It's a REALLY solid app, but could use some work: - Cool it with the coupon offers. The spamming will loose customer trust. If I keep denying it, please don't keep showing the pop-up. Clicking through ads should not be a problem when accessing my bank accounts on any platform. - Include a 'talk to a human' option within the help section. I understand the Eno bot can be useful, but with current capabilities, it's actually an impediment to my finding my solution. Let it get out of the way.

For tracking your spending and balance this is a good app. For travel it is a mess. Booking a room is unintuitive, managing a booking is limited, and contacting customer support is non-existent. The app's deficient user interface allowed me to book a room I could not use (it was a female only room in Japan, information the app failed to display). I was unable to contact customer support and I ended up paying for two rooms.

App works great. My issue is the ads and popups. I'm already a capital one customer. I do not want to open more accounts. I do not want coupons for stuff I don't buy. I just want to open the app, look at my transactions, maybe pay a bill, and close it. I do not want to do anything else. Stop with the ads and pop ups. Tired of clicking on things that takes me out of the app or tries to make me open an account I do not need. Please stop. You make your money on credit card interest not ad revenue.

Maybe it's my phone just isn't compatible with the app but several of the features do not work for me. Tried multiple times to change my username and it directs me to creditwise and there's no option there to update it. Also, I received an email stating I can track the shipment of my cc but again, when I follow the link the email provides, it directs me to the app, I have to sign in again and it says this feature is not available! Frustrating to say the least

If this supposed to be a mobile app I think it needs a little bit of work. For instance when you click the spot to lock your card the wording is really confusing especially for my advanced age group. When you hit the button it should be crystal clear card is locked or card is unlocked. Also the lettering and words should fit the screen of a cell phone better than it's currently showing. Come on people put a little bit more effort into your products.

Edit: it's been almost two months and the app remains barely usable. I've uninstalled and reinstalled so many times I've lost count. I'm at the point where I'm considering closing my accounts because if they can't get a simple app to work how secure is the company itself?? I've been a CapitalOne customer for years and have had the app which has always worked great until now. Since the last update it's impossible to get the app to open, let alone function. Super disappointing

I enjoy using their products as I have multiple cards with capital one. The app is okay, even though I allow for push notification and such, it only sends me notifications for some of my accounts (Quicksilver and Student banking). I would like to have the option for a daily balance notification or at least the notification for when you make a purchase to work. I've enabled the push option for my 365 checking account but never received a notification from it when I make purchases and what not.

Bill pay is now back, sort of. You can manually pay accounts, but there's still no way to actually pay a bill. That's ridiculous. it needs ability to manually enter checks to track until they clear. I can't believe they've dropped that ability from even the website. For credit card bills, it only lists the minimum amount due as an option and not also the statement balance. A customer since they acquired ing direct, and starting to look for a replacement.

So easy to check the balance on my card and to make my payments online. Having the due date(s) digital is very useful as well so I don't have to wait for anything to come in mail. edit April 2024: I don't like the "drag" feature when making a payment. It constantly bugs out/takes multiple tries to get it to go to the proper spot. It isn't a puzzlegame, it's a financial app and makes this very annoying to pay them.

Sandra H “Sandy” Lampkins

I am often required to change my password. Even if I 'change' it to the same as it was, I often get locked out for too many attempts. It's like it's not retaining my login info. And the App crashes often. I haven't found an update for the app, so I'm stuck. Repeating earlier rating. Nothing changed. I use fix print recognition and at least 15% of the time I get that "oops we've hit a snag..." And I can't log in until another time. But, life goes on hopefully.

The Capital One app is a very good way of monitoring your accounts with them. It offers quite a few other options as well, from making payments, setting payment dates, applying for other of their products, and monitoring your credit, too. I can't offer five stars because not only have I had issues getting into the site (it is very secure!), as my password was giving me troubles (their fault), but it also lacks a dark-mode option for its display, which is a nice touch for ANY app!

James Payne

It's mostly a very good and stable app. But there needs to be a running balance. By this, I don't mean the account balance at the top, I mean a running balance tagged as it is at the moment in time of a transaction. Like, under every posted transaction, show what the balance accumulates to at the time of that posting. Almost every finance app has this, I would like it if Capital One did as well.

Brook Knapp

I keep having interruptions that kick me out while trying to book a flight. Then, when I try to check out, it errors out again. I see the transaction in and out of my capital one account, but the trip isn't booked. I've tried many times on my phone and online with no successful booking 😕. The prices and rewards are great if you can actually get the app working enough to use them.

Joe Smith

App is broken. Used to work perfect for years not I can't make it through the boot screen. Have tried force stopping the app deleting cache and still get the spinning wheel of death. FIX IT! The worst part is the developers don't seem to care. Several people are having the same issue as me and there is zero response from the development team...

Janet Warthen

The mobile check deposit is ridiculous. I've never had any problems until now when having the photo of the front and back of the check not being accepted. "Having trouble reading the numbers at the bottom of the check." Seriously?? It's clear enough you can read the numbers! I've taken and retaken the photos numerous times!! Come on already and accept the photos!!! FIX THE MOBILE DEPOSIT IN THE APP!!! And your customer service is horrible!!!

Douglas Barbin

This app is TRASH. Finally updated the app where I don't have to log in 3 separate times for checking, savings, and credit card. Took them forever but at least it's progress. EDIT: and now I have to reset my password (to the same password as before) every single time I use this app. Going to see what legal avenues are available, as this app is preventing me from accessing my funds.

Mark Wittrig

It does the job. Problem with any "extras". "See new score" for creditwise has worked very few times. Same thing with new offers. Apparently, clicking on any link completely bogs it down. It makes paying easier so I rate it a 3. Edit 3/25/24: As of the last couple weeks, the app spins repeatedly and doesn't open. After force closing and connecting to wifi, an unclear amount of times, it finally opens. Seeing as how this is how I pay my bill... frustrating is an understatement. 2 stars

Nancy Jones

This app became trash overnight. Used to load and work fine, then stopped loading the login screen. Just shows the loading screen spinning circle + logo. Very frustrating! Have updated, uninstalled and reinstalled several times with no improvement at all. WTH is going on with this app? Supposedly apps are more "secure" but I don't see how if it won't even load to let me log in. Looks like I'm not the only one having this issue based on other's reviews. Capital One, please fix!

CXII

I've been a capital 1 card owner for 10 years. The service s*cks, and this app is even worse. It stalls when I run the app. I've tried updating, deleting cache and data. Reinstalling. The app is absolutely trash. Also a closed 360 checking account I had connected to my credit card account , is still showing, even though it's been closed for 5 years. This company needs to upgrade itself. Capital 1 customer service is horrible. And the app is the worst I've ever used. Will likely close my cards

Flavio Bonelli

WORST APP EVER I can't believe in 2024 there are still apps that don't work like this one, and from Capitol one too, there is no one thing you can do without getting an error message, deposit checks is the only thing available, not transfers, not help, not setting up phone numbers, nothing works and the worst part is that they don't even fix it or care, is like that since I opened the account, 4 years. Super disappointed I'm really considering to close it and open it somewhere else.
